About Alyssa
I have always been drawn to jazz and, after attending the Rockettes Summer Intensive in high school, I fell in love with precision jazz. The exactness, the control, and the ability to work with and feel the dancers around me to create a bigger picture together is something I find so special. The detail-oriented approach of precision has helped me in every other style I now train in. It provides clarity in my movement and allows me to be aware of what shapes my body makes.
I think few things spread joy like live entertainment! And what better way to spread joy than during the holidays. Performing in Christmas Wonderland and at Turning Stone Casino’s NYE both gave me that fulfillment to bring that light to so many people. I have had the pleasure of working on multiple video concepts for both commercial dance and theater dance. I am lucky to have many mentors that believe in me and push me forward in my career.
When I am not dancing or working, you can find me baking. I have always had a passion for baking and decorating desserts, but through the pandemic I developed an obsession with all things French patisserie! If there is a potluck it’s a good bet I’m bringing a dessert!
I am really passionate about spreading joy! Whether it is through my dancing, sharing desserts I have made, or just sharing a smile I hope to bring light and happiness to someone else’s day in whatever way I can!
